Applications for memberships and registration to the
Association must be on an official MPPPA registration forms
that are available on the
association’s web-site
www.mpppaustralia.com/forms.htm
or from the Secretary
secretary@mpppaustralia.com
and posted to the MPPPA Registry
at:
Miniature Pig & Pet Pig Association of Australia
PO Box 280 Wingham, NSW 2424.
with the correct
membership or registration
fees.
* The form is to be filled out by the
applicant, signed and dated.
* All attachments that are required
for the registration are to
accompany the application.
* The MPPPA Registry will process
each new membership and registration
received without prior approval from the
Committee.
* If the Committee deems the
registration inappropriate, a full
refund will be given to the applicant for
the membership or registration.
* Any changes to a registration will
require a new application.
* All memberships and registrations are to be paid and
approved before
registration is accepted by the Association.

Registered |
* DNA tested with Geneseek.
* Has permanent identification.
* Measurement to be under 60cm high to the
front shoulder.
A copy of this information is to
be attached to the
registration application.

A Miniature
Pig or Pig
is Measured to the Front Shoulder. |
* A
Miniature Pig is to be 60cm or shorter to the
front shoulder
at 2 years of age .
* Measured by-
in accordance with registration.
* A Reference Pig to be 61cm or higher
to the front shoulder.

Registration of a Miniature Pig is:

* Miniature Pig intended for
breeding and has been on Preliminary Registration
for 2 years
* Has a
permanent identification and a copy forwarded to
the
Official Registry with registration form.
* Miniature Piglet (both parents must
be on Main
Registration with the MPPPA.
* Not Spayed/Neutered
(desexed)
* Parents to measure 60cm to the front
shoulder or shorter.
* To be measured
and witnessed by a
licensed
veterinarian
or a
JP
* DNA recorded
by Geneseek and a copy forwarded to the MPPPA official
Registry with registration form.

Preliminary
Registration of a Miniature Pig is:

* Miniature Pig
intended for breeding and has not previously been
registered.
* Has a
permanent identification and a copy forwarded to the
Official Registry with registration form.
* Miniature Piglet
(parents are not on main registration)
* Not Spayed/Neutered
(desexed)
* Parents to measure 60cm to the front
shoulder or shorter.
* Measurements
for a miniature pig are to be witnessed by a licenced
veterinarina
or a MPPPA full member or a JP.
* Measurements are at 12 months of age and again at 24
months of
age and
forms are to be signed and dated.
* DNA recorded
by Geneseek and a copy forwarded to the MPPPA official
Registry with registration form.

Reference
Registration of a Pig is:

* Pig intended for breeding.
* Has a
permanent identification and a copy forwarded to the
Official Registry with registration form.
* Piglet (both parents must be on
Reference Registration with
the MPPPA.
* Not Spayed/Neutered
(desexed)
* Parents to measure 61cm to the front
shoulder or higher.
* Measurements are to be done by the
breeder and forms signed.
* DNA recorded
by Geneseek and a copy forwarded to the MPPPA official
Registry with registration form.
