          Purchasing a Pet Pig

 

There are some things you need to consider when getting a pet pig.
  • Does your local Council allow you to have a pet pig..?
  • Is the breeder registered with the MPPPA..?
  • Your piglet from a registered breeder will include their de-sexing, vaccinations, worming, parent verification. Plus you will receive your discounted MPPPA associate membership form.
  • Registered breeders comply with the:
    MPPPA -     Breeders Registration requirements.      

How can you be sure the breeder is registered with the MPPPA
  • You can check the contact details are on the:  -  Registered Breeders page.
  • A registered breeder will also have their official papers from the MPPPA with the emblem in the corner and signed by the MPPPA President.
